How to describe an object so it cuts out cleanly
One object — one request
“A sofa, an armchair and a coffee table” gives you a scene from which nothing can be cut out separately. Generate each object on its own and assemble the composition on the canvas.
Name the angle
“Strict side view”, “three-quarter view”, “top view” — this decides whether the object fits your layout. For a product card you usually want three quarters.
Describe the material and the color
“Blue velvet”, “matte polycarbonate”, “light wood”, “kraft paper” — the material sets the texture and highlights, and without it the object comes out looking like plastic.
Avoid the transparent, the fluffy and the smoky
Glass, tulle, fur and smoke are the hardest cases for any clipping. Such objects come out better when they are large in the frame and stand on a simple background.
Add the shadow in the layout, not in the prompt
The object's own shadow either leaves with the background or stays behind as a dirty smudge. Place the object on the canvas and add a shadow with the editor's tools — it will match your scene.
Frequently asked questions about object generation
What format does the result come in?
A PNG with an alpha channel. You can download it and use it in other editors — the transparency stays.
How is this different from removing a photo's background?
There is no photo. Background removal works with your own shot, while here the object is first drawn from a description — you can get an angle, color and material you don't have.
Can I get the same object from different angles?
Partially: every generation is independent, so the details will differ. For a consistent series, generate the object once and refine the angle with prompt-based editing.
How clean are the contours?
On simple silhouettes — practically perfect, including bicycle spokes and plant leaves. Fur, hair and glass along the edge may need touching up.
Can I use the objects in commercial projects?
Yes. As with any generation, it's worth checking that no recognizable third-party logo ended up in the frame.
